About the Role
Shell, is looking for an experienced HR Country Manager to lead the Human Resources function across Egypt, Tanzania, Saudi Arabia, and Russia. This senior role will drive strategic HR initiatives, align people strategies with business goals, and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
As the Country HR Manager, you will oversee all HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, organizational design, rewards & benefits, learning & development, DE&I, and compliance with local and global standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the HR function across multiple countries, ensuring alignment with business priorities 🌍
Develop and implement people strategies supporting growth, performance, and engagement 📊
Drive employee relations, succession planning, learning & development, and organizational capability 🚀
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and global HR standards ⚖️
Coach and mentor HR teams and senior leaders on performance, engagement, and leadership effectiveness 💡
Manage strategic workforce planning and talent pipeline development 📈
Oversee day-to-day HR operations ensuring high-quality service delivery 🏢
Act as Chief of Staff for Country Crisis Management when needed
Skills & Requirements
Proven business partnering skills; ability to advise and influence senior leaders 🤝
Strong people leadership capabilities; experienced in managing HR teams across multiple regions 👥
Expertise in HR policies, compliance, and labor laws 📜
Experienced in change management, transformation, and agile HR practices 🔄
Exceptional communication and influencing skills; able to handle sensitive matters professionally 🗣️
Experience: 20+ years in HR, with prior HR Manager experience. Oil & Gas or multinational background is a plus 🌟
