🌟 Job Purpose

ADNOC Drilling is hiring an Engineer, Safety to support the Rig Manager in managing HSE and asset integrity systems at assigned rig sites.

The role involves delivering safety training, monitoring safety procedures, auditing working practices, and ensuring compliance with environmental and occupational safety regulations. ⚡🛡️

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct safety orientation for all incoming and departing personnel 👷

• Develop, monitor, and implement safety programs such as hazard identification, pinch point audits, DROPS, and working at heights plans

• Train rig personnel in safety principles, conduct emergency drills, and evaluate program effectiveness 📚

• Maintain safety equipment and life-saving appliances in optimal working condition

• Direct the implementation of the Permit to Work system and ensure safe operations in high-risk activities ⚙️

• Investigate all incidents, assess causes, and recommend corrective measures to prevent recurrence

• Monitor environmental compliance, participate in clean-up operations, and prepare incident reports 🌍

• Participate in Operator and ADNOC safety inspections, audits, and follow-ups

• Ensure proper availability of safety and emergency equipment, protective clothing, and specialized gear

• Carry out emergency drills (fire, H2S, evacuation, man overboard, breathing apparatus usage)

• Assist in updating training records and specialized safety programs

🎓 Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Engineering, HSE, or relevant discipline

🛠️ Experience & Skills Required

• Proven experience in rig safety engineering or offshore HSE

• Strong knowledge of safety management systems, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance

• Ability to conduct training, audits, and emergency response effectively

• Excellent communication, reporting, and teamwork skills
