📝 Job Description:
JobzEG Energy & Mining is seeking a Senior Drilling Engineer for a Japanese Oil & Gas client in Abu Dhabi. This long-term role requires expertise in drilling planning, operations, and safety compliance.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Plan and schedule drilling campaigns aligned with company objectives
Lead drilling engineering activities, coordinating with technical, HSE, and service provider teams
Ensure HSE and ADNOC COP compliance
Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans
Provide coaching and technical support to junior engineers
Review equipment specifications, tenders, and operational reports
🎓 Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
Minimum 10 years of experience in drilling engineering (≥1 year rig site experience)
Valid IWCF Level 4 certification
Proficiency in Landmark software (COMPASS, WELLCAT, WELLPLAN)
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
