🔍 Job Overview

The Senior Inventory Planning Specialist will plan, manage, and optimize inventory levels to ensure customer service targets are met at the lowest operating cost. You will develop accurate demand forecasts, analyze sales patterns, and collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure efficient inventory and demand management.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

Maintain an accurate, updated inventory control system and ensure data integrity daily.

Prepare and submit monthly order suggestions for wholesale and aftersales product managers.

Generate product inventory and local purchase reports to support sales and stock planning.

Provide administrative support by preparing regular and special reports for product managers to enhance stock levels and sales performance.

Review and analyze purchase requisitions (PR)—including Sea/GME orders submitted by product managers and authorized sales personnel.

Evaluate and approve Air Freight PRs and Emergency PRs based on business needs.

Set and maintain stock levels per item according to inventory KPIs and metrics.

Submit final PRs to the Inventory Manager for approval.

Utilize market insights, sales data, planned orders, and promotional activities to build robust demand forecasts.

Coordinate with sales, marketing, finance, and customer service teams to ensure alignment on forecast accuracy.

Conduct forecast analysis, monitor accuracy levels, and manage updates to meet business targets.

📌 Education

Bachelor's degree (Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields preferred)

📌 Required Qualifications & Skills

0–2 years experience in automotive or supply chain is preferred

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and make informed decisions

Proficiency in software tools, including databases and spreadsheets

Good understanding of automotive parts usage and applications

Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
