📌 Job Overview
🌟 Safety Officer – 2 Positions – Qatar (until 2030)
We are seeking experienced Safety Officers to provide technical HSE support across large-scale Oil, Gas & Petrochemical construction projects.
The role involves monitoring project sites, implementing risk reduction measures, auditing contractor compliance, and maintaining HSE records to international standards.
💼 Key Responsibilities
Provide technical HSE support during project design and execution stages.
Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with JSA, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Permit to Work systems.
Identify and implement risk reduction measures across all construction phases.
Review contractors’ HSE documents, certifications, and assess competence.
Support Sr. HSE Engineer in project HSE monitoring, objectives, and initiatives.
Maintain HSE risk registers and ensure proper follow-up.
Investigate incidents, report findings, and implement corrective actions.
Conduct site safety meetings, HSE awareness sessions, and audits.
Prepare statistical and trend analysis reports for safety performance.
🎯 Requirements
HNC or equivalent in engineering discipline.
Associate member of a recognized safety institution.
Minimum 12 years of operational safety experience in Oil, Gas, or Petrochemical, preferably infrastructure/construction projects.
Competent in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
Experience in the Arabian Gulf is desirable.
