Jotun MEIA is seeking a skilled Import Supervisor to join its team at the 10th of Ramadan City Factory. This role ensures efficient import operations, customs clearance compliance, and smooth supply chain execution aligned with Jotun’s objectives and policies.

⭐ Key Responsibilities

Handle and verify all required documents for import operations and coordinate with internal stakeholders (Treasury & Purchasing).

Follow up on all customs clearance activities for overseas shipments.

Coordinate inbound purchase orders, systematic receiving, and transfers to final destinations according to operational schedules.

Communicate with suppliers regarding freight status, tracking, routing, dispatching, and rate quotations.

Ensure compliance with customs regulations, local laws, and company procedures.

Support the Purchasing Manager in evaluating logistics solutions, including packaging, lot sizes, distributors, transport, and customs requirements.

Assist in maintaining accurate supplier invoice control and timely payments.

Monitor and report KPIs, ensuring zero demurrage and on-time shipments.

📌 Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

3–4 years of experience in Import, Customs Clearance, and/or Freight Forwarding.

Excellent command of English and Arabic (written & spoken).

Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to take initiative, work independently, and ensure results.
