ADNOC Drilling is hiring an Engineer, Safety to join its HSE team across rig locations in the United Arab Emirates. This role is ideal for professionals with strong oil & gas safety engineering, HSE management, and rig operations experience.

🔧 Job Overview

The Safety Engineer will support the Rig Manager in managing HSE, Permit to Work (PTW) systems, incident investigation, environmental compliance, and safety training across rig sites.

This is a high-impact role for candidates experienced in risk assessment, safety audits, and emergency response within drilling operations.

⭐ Key Responsibilities

🎯 Conduct safety orientations for all incoming rig personnel

🛡️ Lead and supervise the Permit to Work (PTW) system

🔍 Perform safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments

🚨 Participate in emergency drills (fire, H2S, evacuation, man overboard, etc.)

🧯 Ensure life-saving and safety equipment are fully operational

📝 Investigate incidents & prepare corrective action reports

🌱 Support environmental management and inspections

📚 Deliver safety training sessions & maintain HSE documentation

🛠️ Follow up on corrective actions from inspections and audits

📊 Maintain Near Miss, PAIRs & asset integrity reporting within SAP

🎓 Job Requirements

B.Sc. in Petroleum, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent

6+ years of HSE experience, including 3+ years in Oil & Gas

Strong knowledge of PTW, RCA, JSA, and safety management systems

Excellent English communication skills

Strong computer literacy
