Job Description:
Weatherford is seeking a talented Procurement Manager to manage sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management for its Abu Dhabi manufacturing operations. This role ensures cost-effective and timely acquisition of materials, equipment, and services while maintaining high quality and compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business goals
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for materials and services
Lead supplier performance management and corrective action plans
Collaborate with engineering and operations on material specifications and delivery timelines
Maintain accurate purchase orders and procurement reports through ERP systems
Drive cost reduction, localization, and alternative sourcing initiatives
Requirements:
7+ years of procurement or sourcing experience in oil & gas or manufacturing
Proficiency in ERP/Procurement platforms (SAP Ariba, Oracle, JDE)
Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills
CIPS or CPSM certification preferred
