🔵 HSE Manager – ARO | Khobar, Saudi Arabia

ARO is hiring an experienced HSE Manager to join its newly structured organization in Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

This role is ideal for senior HSE professionals with a strong background in drilling operations—especially offshore—who can lead strategy, safety programs, and compliance at scale.

🔥 Job Responsibilities

Design and execute a division-wide HSE strategy aligned with corporate objectives, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.

Act as a key advisor to the Operations Manager and drive a continuous improvement culture.

Lead and mentor HSE Specialists and Rig Safety Coaches to ensure effective implementation of HSE practices across all operations.

Monitor compliance, track regulatory changes, and ensure timely closure of audit findings.

Oversee incident investigations, conduct root-cause analysis, and share lessons learned across the fleet.

Develop proactive HSE initiatives to strengthen safety culture and reduce incidents.

Track KPIs and implement continuous improvement measures.

Manage and test emergency response plans to ensure operational readiness.

Interface with customers, regulatory bodies, industry groups, and legal counsel on HSE matters.

Organize HSE workshops and oversee HSE training programs.

🎯 Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related fields.

12+ years of experience, including 5+ years in a senior HSE role.

Previous experience in drilling operations; offshore drilling highly preferred.

Strong background in HSE program implementation, incident investigation, and compliance.

Recognized certifications such as NEBOSH, CSP, or equivalent preferred.
