We are building a Talent Pool for highly experienced Rig Managers to lead onshore or offshore drilling operations. This role is pivotal to delivering safe, efficient, and profitable drilling performance while acting as the primary liaison with clients. ⚙️🌍

Successful candidates will ensure that the OIM/Rig Superintendent and front-line leaders remain fully focused on operational excellence, minimizing administrative distractions and improving overall rig performance. 🚀

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

👥 Leadership

Lead, coach, and motivate drilling crews to maintain a high-performance, safety-driven culture.

🦺 Safety & Compliance

Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations, best practices, incident prevention, and well control standards.

🤝 Client Relations

Serve as the primary client interface, maintaining transparent communication and strong relationships.

🚚 Logistics & Maintenance

Oversee rig logistics, equipment readiness, maintenance planning, and material coordination.

📈 Performance Optimization (1)

Monitor operational KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and reduce non-productive time.

⚙️ Performance Optimization (2)

Work closely with Rig Supervisors to ensure efficient drilling operations from spud to release.

🎯 Required Experience

• 15+ years in drilling operations, including 5 years as Rig Manager on onshore/offshore rigs 🛢️

• Experience managing full drilling cycles (spud-to-release)

• Proven ability to optimize performance & minimize downtime

• Strong HSE and regulatory understanding

• Rig Superintendent experience for min. 2 years (preferred)

🎓 Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field 🎓

• High School diploma accepted

📜 Certifications

• Valid IWCF or IADC Well Control – Supervisor Level

• Stuck Pipe Certification

• HSE-related certifications
