Job Description:

🔹 About the Role Shell is hiring an Operations HSE Lead to oversee operational safety, HSE management systems, risk assessment activities, and process safety performance across site operations and offshore facilities. This role is ideal for senior HSE professionals with strong experience in oil & gas production environments, operational safety, and process safety management. 🔹 Key Responsibilities 🦺 HSE Operations & Risk Management • Implement HSE programs and continuous improvement initiatives • Maintain effective Control of Work (CoW) systems and compliance processes • Participate in Operational Risk Register development and mitigation planning • Strengthen hazard identification and intervention culture across operations ⚙️ Process Safety & Asset Integrity • Support management of Major Accident Hazards (MAH) controls • Ensure Asset Integrity & Process Safety Management (AIPSM) compliance • Support Management of Change (MoC) processes and safety inquiries • Identify operational risks and emerging hazards proactively 🚨 Incident Management & Emergency Response • Lead and participate in incident investigations and root-cause analysis • Update and deliver Emergency Response Plan training • Conduct HSE audits, compliance checks, and assurance activities • Implement corrective action plans and share lessons learned across teams

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent HSE qualification • Minimum 15 years of operational safety experience in Oil & Gas • Experience in onshore/offshore gas processing facilities is preferred • Strong knowledge of HSE Management Systems and compliance frameworks • Experience with incident investigation and risk assessment methodologies • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills • Fluency in English and Arabic is a strong advantage • Candidates based in Alexandria or nearby are preferred 💡 Why Join Shell? • Work with one of the world’s leading energy companies • Exposure to international HSE standards and large-scale operations • Leadership role with significant operational impact • Professional development and long-term career growth opportunities • Collaborative and high-performance work environment
