Centro Egypt is looking for a highly experienced Supply Chain Commercial Lead / Contracts & Procurement Manager to drive contracting, procurement, and category management for upstream, midstream, LNG, and corporate operations.

Position Purpose

Lead the full Category Management & Contracting Process (CMCP), including:

Strategy development

Tendering & commercial negotiations

Supplier relationship management

Post-award contract performance

Deliver maximum commercial value while ensuring HSSE compliance and supporting operations across all oil & gas segments.

Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ Contracting & Commercial Management

Manage contracting lifecycle: strategy, tenders, bid evaluation, negotiations, and contract finalization

Drive competitive commercial outcomes and optimize contract value

Develop post-award contract management plans

2️⃣ Supply Chain & Category Strategy

Develop category strategies aligned with business demand and market insights

Identify cost-saving opportunities and supply chain enhancements

Support local content development and capability building

3️⃣ Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with engineering, wells, projects, and operations

Coordinate with JV partners, regulators, and global category teams

Provide commercial insights ensuring alignment with business objectives

4️⃣ Supplier Relationship Management

Evaluate supplier performance and risks using key metrics

Build strategic supplier partnerships for improved delivery, cost, and safety

Maintain market intelligence and industry knowledge

5️⃣ HSSE & Compliance

Ensure all contracting and procurement activities comply with HSSE requirements

Implement contractor HSSE management practices

Maintain compliance with legal, ethical, and governance standards

6️⃣ Leadership & People Development

Lead and develop a team of procurement and supply chain professionals

Promote a performance-driven, value-focused culture

Coach and support capability building

7️⃣ Process Excellence

Apply CMCP effectively across all contracting activities

Streamline processes and challenge inefficiencies

Balance compliance, commercial judgment, and pragmatic decision-making

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field

12–15 years in Contracting & Procurement / Supply Chain in Oil & Gas (Upstream/Wells/Projects)

Strong tendering, negotiation, and supplier management experience

MCIPS or similar professional certifications preferred

Fluent in Arabic & English

Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen
