🎯 Job Purpose

The Warehouse Team Leader plays a key role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing outsourced logistics, optimizing cost efficiency, and ensuring accurate stock handling. You will bridge operational excellence with strategic planning to support Unilever’s supply chain performance.

📌 Key Responsibilities

Your main duties will include:

Planning and organizing daily/weekly warehouse activities

Overseeing outsourced logistics (warehousing, transportation, order fulfillment)

Enhancing warehouse performance through innovation and continuous improvement

Training teams according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Managing finished goods, packaging materials, and inventory accuracy

Facilitating operations between factories, co-packers, and warehouses

Ensuring timely dispatching based on priority plans

Coordinating container movements and liaising with freight companies

Raising and managing electronic purchase orders

Receiving, batch-checking, storing, and electronically registering inbound goods

Monitoring consumables and replenishing as needed

Conducting quarterly physical stock counts

Ensuring full stock accuracy between records and physical inventory

🎓 Required Experience & Qualifications

Experience (2–5 Years):

✔ Logistics, supply chain, warehouse, distribution, or transportation

✔ FMCG, pharma, or automotive background preferred

✔ Procurement experience accepted

✔ Strong analytics skills: Power BI, Excel, Tabular

✔ SAP knowledge (especially 3PL workflow)

✔ Understanding of warehouse processes & operational terminology

Soft Skills:

Strong leadership & stakeholder management

Excellent communication & documentation skills

Analytical mindset with strong decision-making skills

Ability to manage conflicts and guide front-line teams
